Hi, I'm Chi!
I'm a UX Designer who believes that making changes in daily microinteractions will lead to vast improvements in user-centered designs.
My goals are to evaluate various interaction methods within unique systems, discover what works and doesn't work for systems based on real users' feedback during usability tests, and provide recommendations to make the user experience better.
Most of my design work has been on SaaS ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and CRM (Customer Resource Management) products with past employers such as SAP, Syscon Justice Systems, and Move, Inc (realtor.com).
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interaction Design from Simon Fraser University's School of Interactive Arts & Technology program.
Through Nielsen Norman Group, I am working towards my UX Management certification and have taken the following courses:
Becoming a UX Strategist
Engaging Stakeholders to Build Buy-In
Working Effectively in Cross-Functional Teams
Design Tradeoffs and UX Decision Frameworks.
What I do for fun:
Been practicing martial arts: Wushu and Kyokushin Karate since I was 9
Travelled to 12 countries so far
